So who the heck am I?
My name is James Gralian. I’ve been a sound tech since I was fifteen, and always had a love of radio. I have been on tour with Broadway musicals, worked rock and roll, all sorts of theater – small and large – and spent a few years at a few radio stations in Denver / Boulder, CO. I was more on the technical side of things, building studios, remote broadcasts, fixing gear, and everything short of working on the transmitters.
I started my podcast, The Rink, in 2008, and wanted to make it as high quality as possible. I started a small podcast discussion site called Podcasters Unite, but it didn’t really go far. At some point, people stop wanting to talk about podcasting and just want to get some podcasting done.
In the end, I want podcasting to become a better and bigger medium, and for podcasters to make better sounding shows that they are proud of. In turn, I get to listen to better shows, and will learn plenty along the way. Basically, everyone wins.
Come along for the ride. We can only grow together.
